Healing on the spiritual path – also from incurable ailments – for many people, this sounds too good to be true.  However, the impressive documentary film ”The Phenomenon of Healing: the Worldwide Activities of the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends“ shows that this is possible after all. 

The Beginning
Due to extraordinary healings, Bruno Gröning made headlines around the world in the 1950s.  When he died in 1959, many believed that this phenomenon had ended.  But this assumption didn’t prove true.  On the contrary; for those following his teaching, many medically inexplicable healings occurred.  Numerous cases of healing continue to occur worldwide.

The Continuation

While the first documentary film “The Phenomenon Bruno Groening” ends with the funeral of Bruno Groening in 1959, the new documentary film “The Phenomenon of Healing” seamlessly continues from there.  It explores how the work of Bruno Groening and the Circle of Friends has developed and expanded.  The result is an unrivaled 290-minute documentary.

The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends
In 1979, Grete Haeusler founded the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.  Through personal experience of Bruno Groening, she received healing from three ailments medically considered “incurable“.  Her aim was to preserve the teaching of Bruno Groening for future generations and to extend the possibility of help and healing to suffering people.  The teaching, free from any religious or financial obligations, is accessible for all people.  All activities of the Circle of Friends are free of charge, based on voluntary donations.  All over the world, unforeseeable healings frequently happen in relation to the activities of the Circle of Friends.
Today there are hundreds of communities in all areas of the world – from Greenland and Mongolia to India and Africa.  The Bruno Groening Circle of Friends has become one of the largest associations in the world for healing on the spiritual path. 

The Medical Scientific Group (MWF)
Through their patients who had received healing, more and more doctors became aware of the teaching.  In 1992, doctors and other healing practitioners founded the Medical Scientific Group (MWF) within the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends.
Their task is to investigate reported healings; to verify and document them using corresponding reports from independent physicians.  The doctors of the MWF offer lectures all over the world to inform colleagues and interested people, and have been invited to speak by medical faculties of renowned universities.

International Peace Award
International awards have been forthcoming as well.  In May 2013, the Bruno Groening Circle of Friends received the Peace Pole Award from the World Peace Prayer Society (WPPS), which is affiliated with the United Nations (UN).  Other laureates include well-known personalities such as the Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Mother Theresa, Pope John Paul II and the Dalai Lama. 

Numerous Experience Reports
This documentary film retraces all these developmental landmarks.  Director and screenwriter Thomas Eich and his team dedicated nine years to its production.  The film crew traveled to all continents and interviewed Bruno Groening Friends from 35 countries.  Twenty specially-selected, medically documented healings are featured in the film.  The result is a captivating documentation of personal commitment and experience, often leading to the inexplicable.  A great number of people report about what they have experienced – the phenomenon of healing.
